Saaz, a musical corporation aiming to connect with a diverse audience of music lovers, approached us to craft a brand identity that would reflect its essence. The objective was to develop a visual identity that resonated with the dynamic nature of music while maintaining simplicity and elegance.

Logo Design: The Core Element
At the heart of the brand identity is the custom-designed logo. The typography of "Saaz" is the primary element, with an artistic interpretation of the "AA" resembling sound waves between the letters "S" and "Z." This design choice captures the essence of Saaz – a corporation that embodies the rhythm, flow, and vibrancy of sound and music.
Typography
The custom typeface not only communicates the brand's name but also visually translates its essence. The "AA" symbolically represents sound waves, evoking the auditory experience Saaz offers. The curves of the letters are carefully crafted to maintain harmony and fluidity, just like the seamless flow of a melody.
Color Palette:
- Red (30%) – Symbolizing passion, energy, and the emotions that music evokes.
- Black (10%) – Adding a touch of elegance and professionalism, representing the corporation's dedication to high-quality musical experiences.
- White (60%) – Denoting simplicity and openness, creating a clean and versatile background to allow the music (and the logo) to take center stage.
The color distribution was intentionally balanced to maintain a clean, modern look while still evoking passion and professionalism.
Stationery Design: Cohesive Visual Identity
To ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints, we extended the visual language of the logo into stationery items. These include:
- Letterhead: Clean layout with the Saaz logo in the header, maintaining ample white space to ensure that the letter's content remains the focal point.
- Visiting Card: The front side showcases the logo prominently, while the back side includes essential contact information. The red and black elements guide the eye toward key information, creating a balanced and approachable design.
- Envelopes: Featuring subtle branding with the logo on the corner, ensuring a professional and cohesive look.
Target Audience Resonance
The brand identity was carefully designed to resonate with Saaz's audience – a mix of professional musicians, music enthusiasts, and casual listeners. The sound wave representation in the logo immediately connects with the core essence of music, fostering a sense of familiarity and excitement.
